It is crucial that interior designers have essential skills to express their creative perspectives as well as conceptual designs. With the advent of the computer as a design tool for their productivity, this course covers the base of working with the requisite tools to help improve on the design.

Course Objective

The course develops professional designers with adequate technical skills required to design for visual thinking, designing, and presentation. It focuses on nurturing fundamental principles of interior design and specializations of spaces through various tools to convey the design intent to another person. The course is comprehensive of communication through Manual and digital medium to help well define the art of designing spaces in their dialect.

Course Curriculum

The course curriculum focuses on two-dimensional drafting and three-dimensional visualization which are the major highlights of the program. The basics of graphic design and portfolio design, along with 3D rendering, and animation are dealt with in detail with the principles of Interior design. The development of technical drawing and manual drawing skills are given priority. The course is supported by practical project work aided by lectures, seminars, and workshops. The module consists of Basic Design, Manual drafting and 2D technical detail drafting, 3D visualization and visual presentation.
